On January 20th 2017, five buses from Toronto took off to Washington. The trip was organized by a group of Canadians led by Marrisa McTasney. A total of eight buses from all across Canada with five from Toronto, one from Montreal, Ottawa, and London, Ontario headed to the women's march on Washington.
Around 9 a.m. Saturday morning, buses from all across North America arrived in Washington. People walked towards the RFK Stadium to start the march.

Up to one million people took part in the Women's March on Washington, D.C. Saturday, Jan. 21. These are some of the photographs taken by Skedline photojournalist Bernadette Vina of the many people who marched in a forceful show of support for all human rights and in defiance of U.S. president Donald Trump.
A few hours after the march a group of Trump supporters went head to head with a group of anti-Trump supporters in front of the Trump International Hotel.
